Improved clean from tilting brushes

Date Posted: 11 July 2016

During their passes across the front and rear, the vertical brushes will incline up to 25° to clean under the front bumper and match the rear window rake of the back of the car. This reaches difficult areas that attract high traffic film and dirt deposits, such as cavities behind number plates, front skirts or bumper bars and under rear mounted roof spoilers, common on many vehicle designs today.

The 25° tilt is more versatile than any similar system, is suitable for all vehicle shapes and can clean vehicles up to 2.4m high. For vehicles with straight rear areas both side brushes will stay locked vertically. A complete centre crossover of the two brushes at the front and rear ensures there is no wash shadow.

Says Wilcomatic managing director Kevin Pay: “This is the latest of a number of innovations we are introducing to our wash systems, which aim to continue to improve wash quality and customer experience, while driving up revenues for operators who are serious about growing sales through offering the best in automatic car wash quality.”
