Primus,
the best-selling roll-over wash unit, introduced to the market three
years ago, has proved itself successful in all areas, technically, as
well as, optically.
New vehicle forms created by the automobile industry require flexibility and technical adaptation by the machine construction industry. This was only a small challenge for the innovative constructions of Otto Christ AG. In optimising drying, the side jets were newly designed so that the air stream reaches the vehicle's contour's every angle; even the so called problem zones, e.g. mirrors and side skirts, are reached. The powerful top dryer tilts 30? at the front and rear of the car. Using the ergonomically formed fans, even small vans receive an optimal drying.
Simultaneously,
the unit's passage width increased serially from 2,24 to 2,36 m. This
allowing even wider vans, utility vehicles and small trucks to be washed
problem free. Another plus for the PRIMUS.
A further improvement in detail was carried out on the wheel wash unit. The standard scissor technique was replaced by the new linear technique. Two advantages are attained by the linear technique: firstly, pressure is evenly applied to the wheel rims and secondly, the oscillated movement ( = changing of rotational direction). This changing of rotational direction serves to remove even tough to rid grime and residue.
The Christ Primus offers more features as standard than any other car wash on the market.
