Wilcomatic is a long established business with operations in the UK & India. We work across numerous markets including; car wash, truck and bus wash, rail wash and heavy industrial washing of commercial and military vehicles. We have a thriving customer base located across Europe, Asia, America and Australasia. Everything we do is underpinned by a reliable and sophisticated service infrastructure.

History
Wilcomatic began in 1967 as a specialist vehicle washing operation. In our 50+ year history we have grown to become what we consider to be the UK’s leading vehicle wash company. We’ve been able to diversify our offering to cover a broad range of vehicle wash needs as well as offer many other related products and services.
The company was acquired by Westbridge Capital in March 2019 in order to support our continued global growth.
Products
We work closely with Otto Christ AG to supply high specification German engineered wash systems across the UK and the rest of the world. We also design, manufacture, distribute and maintain many of our own products including; water recycling systems, wash chemicals and ancillary forecourt equipment such as jet washers, vacuums and air dispensers.
Health and safety
Wilcomatic works in compliance with the health and safety requirements of UKPIA, ROSPA, Britsafe and Safe Contractor.
We’re also members of a number of other UK and international professional organisations.
Quality systems
Wilcomatic is fully accredited ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001. We boast a superior customer service record with all customer comments recorded, investigated and independently audited under ISO 9001.
All contracts are measured, targeted and reported through service level agreements specific to our individual customers. The scale of our operation, level of repeat business and rate of contract renewals indicate our high performance levels.

Environmental credentials
Wilcomatic is proudly eco-conscious and is fully ISO14001 accredited. We continuously try to improve and innovate in this area. Currently, 98% of our waste is prevented from entering landfill.
Our team
Wilcomatic employs over 120 people. We’re proud of our strong staff retention rate; our average length of service is 9.2 years.
We invest heavily in our workforce, training and incentivising staff in support of our objectives. We operate a Training Academy based at our Croydon premises for technical skills development of both engineers and apprentices.
Lots of staff benefits also exist in the form of the Health Shield cash plan, private medical insurance and numerous individual pension arrangements. We also promote and reward improvements in service performance through “Engineer of the Quarter” and “Engineer of the Year” competitions.
Internal communications is a key focus for the company with monthly email updates and a quarterly staff newsletter published and distributed to all staff.
